Overlooking the sea from Ramsgate’s Royal Harbour, Harveys is the first restaurant in Ramsgate entirely devoted to seafood, proudly displaying locally landed fish on a traditional wet fish slab.
Recently refurbished from its previous life as a harbourside pub, the refit of Harveys has been overseen by experienced and enthusiastic celebrity chef John Burton Race, known for the Michelin-starred New Angel restaurant in Dartmouth. Harveys Fish Market, Oyster Bar and Restaurant opened in June 2009 and quickly began enticing affluent gastro tourists to the area to enjoy picturesque views and locally caught seafood of the highest quality. The contemporary menu offers a wide selection of flavourful dishes to savour for lunch or dinner and private dining is also available, offering wonderful views of the harbour. |
