Customer Reviews Cadre chaleureux, accueil convivial et très professionnel. La cuisine est traditionnelle et de qualité. La carte des vins, étoffée (de très bons vins sud africains)... Nous avons passé une excellente soirée au Restaurant de La Côte. C’est une adresse à ne pas manquer lors d’un passage dans le Kent. La cerise sur le gâteau : nous sommes revenus pour goûter au thé traditionnel à l’anglaise proposé par Sylvia, le “cream tea”. Un vrai délice ! ---- A warm atmosphere, a friendly and very professional staff, traditional quality cuisine, and a wide choice of wines (with some very good south african wines)... We had an excellent time at the Restaurant de La Côte, an address not to be missed whilst in Kent. Icing on the cake, we came back for a traditional cream tea served by Sylvia, a pure delight! Perrine V, 1 Aug 2010 I can not recommend this restaurant enough. My partner and I got engaged here this evening, however have been coming to this restaurant for years (when previously Beau Rivage). Tonight was the first time we had tried Restaurant De La Cote and were not disappointed, the entire night was outstanding. The food was cooked to perfection with the right portion sizes to hush hungry tummies. The evening was made even more special by Fabio (front of house) who was able to recommend the right wine for each course, every time being spot on, indulging us with knowledgeable stories behind each of wine he selected. Do not let this secret treasure of a restaurant disappear. We live in London and make the journey with no hesitation for this little unknown gem. Nothing is too much trouble here and you really feel like you are getting 5* service and 5* food for nowhere near the cost. I have never written a review on a restaurant before but felt compelled to on this occasion. Perfect place for romantic dinners for two or family occasions. Absolute perfection in every way.
